Eucalyptus

Wood description: The heartwood is light yellow-brown to light brown in colour, sometimes with a reddish tint. The sapwood is lighter than the heartwood, but this is difficult to see. The differences between the species in appearance of the heartwood, mechanical properties and application possibilities are small.

Botanical name: Eucalyptus globulus Labill. subspecies globulus
Growth area: Australia and planted in Spain, Portugal and Chile, among other countries.
