My Petra
The My Petra is a yacht built by Heesen Yachts. This project was finished in 2009. It is a 44 meter custom yacht that has excellent performance on the water. The combination of high comfort and interior make this yacht a very popular product of Heesen. This yacht has two MTU-motors which provide a total of 2.720 kW.

Custom Made Sandwich
For Heesen Yachts, we supplied them sound absorbing panels (serene), Fipro panels, veneered panels and HPL panels for the crew area. All these panels made under one roof with high customizability.
My Petra Features:
- This yachts has a maximum speed of 25 knots. The range is 2.950Nm at 12 knots. The hull is made out of aluminium and has a semi-displacement form. The length is 44 meters / 144 feet 4 inches. It has a width of 9 meters / 29 feet, giving it 450 GT.
- The yacht can carry 7 crew members and 10 guests. There is one full-beam owner’s stateroom, two double guest suites and two twin guest suites.
- The design of the interior and exterior is both produced by Omega Architects. These architects are based in The Netherlands and design both yacht and land exteriors and interiors.
Kuiper Holland’s Expertise
Heesen Yachts has a long term relationship with Kuiper Holland. Over the years, we have worked together on multiple builts. We are always on the look-out for innovations in our industry. One of the most current developments, is the use of recycled rubber in the Serene (soundproof panel category) panels. With the intesified focus on sustainability, we are convinced that this product will contribute to better and more sustainable yacht building for in the future.
